In ancient Eastern texts, the Kunpeng soars nine thousand miles on the wind, the phoenix rises from the ashes, the Baize embodies profound wisdom, and the Zouwu stands as the epitome of loyalty and valor.

这些跨越时空的瑞兽意象,承载着中华文化的精神符号。今日,它们化为校园中的院舍徽章,成为每一位学生心中的信念图腾。
These timeless images of auspicious beasts carry the spiritual symbols of Chinese culture.
Today, they transform into dormitory emblems on campus, becoming totems of conviction in every student’s heart.

武汉爱莎融合中西教育理念,以 “仁、义、礼、智” 为文化根基,塑造四大院舍。这并非简单的分组,而是一种充满活力的社区文化,一方能让学生找到精神归属的温暖港湾。在这里,年龄、学部和国别不再是隔阂,同学们跨越年级、学科的界限,在丰富的互动中收获深厚友谊,增强责任意识,荣誉感也油然而生 。
ISA Wuhan integrates Eastern and Western educational philosophies, establishing four residential colleges rooted in the cultural pillars of Benevolence, Righteousness, Etiquette, and Wisdom.
This is more than a grouping system—it is a community culture and a spiritual home,
where students forge friendships, cultivate responsibility, and earn honor through cross-grade and cross-disciplinary interactions.

作为践行IB全人教育的关键部分,院舍制将全校不同背景的学生汇聚到四个院舍中。从日常的主题集会,到激烈的运动会比拼,武汉爱莎的院舍制持续发挥着强大的凝聚作用。让学生在多元文化的校园环境中,相互理解、相互支持,携手成长,共同书写属于他们的精彩篇章 。
As a key component of implementing the IB’s holistic education, the house system brings together students from diverse backgrounds across the school into four distinct houses. From daily themed assemblies to spirited sports day competitions, ISA Wuhan’s house system continues to foster a powerful sense of unity. It enables students to understand and support one another within a multicultural campus environment, growing together as they write their own remarkable chapters.

主题集会:跨界共学,以言传递院舍温度

同学们以院舍为单位,带来精彩的主题演讲和学习成果展示。从尊重、责任、毅力等个人品德,到反霸凌、爱等社会议题,再到世界各地的新年庆祝活动这类多元文化内容,话题广泛而深刻。
Students organized by dormitory delivered outstanding themed speeches and showcased their academic achievements. Topics ranged from personal virtues like respect, responsibility, and perseverance to social issues such as anti-bullying and compassion, as well as multicultural content like New Year celebrations around the world—all presented with breadth and depth.

这些主题紧密围绕道德教育与人文心智关怀,既与联合国世界公认日关注的野生动物保护、贫困问题等全球性热点相呼应,也契合 IB 教育着重培养的 “国际化心态”。在 PSHCE 主题学习的基础上,不同年级、不同国别的院舍成员共同参与筹备,在分工协作中打破年龄与文化壁垒。最终以演讲、演绎等形式,将对主题的理解传递给全校师生,让院舍成为跨界共学的平台,传递温暖与力量。
These themes revolve closely around moral education and humanistic care, resonating with globally recognized issues such as wildlife conservation and poverty addressed by United Nations observances, while also aligning with the IB’s emphasis on cultivating a “global mindset.” Building upon PSHCE thematic learning, members from different grades and countries collaborated in preparations, breaking down age and cultural barriers through division of labor and teamwork. Ultimately, through presentations and performances, they conveyed their understanding of the themes to the entire school community, transforming the dormitory into a cross-disciplinary learning platform that radiates warmth and strength.

院舍竞技活动:同心拼搏,凝聚团队荣誉感

在今年的春季运动会上,四大院舍的同学们身着代表各自院舍颜色的运动服,大家不分年龄、不分学部、不分国别,为争夺运动会奖杯全力以赴。有人冲刺赛道,有人守护接力棒,有人在看台上齐声呐喊,在挥洒汗水中深化友谊,让归属感与荣誉感在竞技中愈发强烈。
At this year’s Spring Sports Meet, students from the four colleges donned athletic uniforms in their respective colors. Regardless of age, faculty, or nationality, everyone gave their all to compete for the championship trophy. Some sprinted down the track, others guarded the relay baton, while spectators cheered in unison from the stands. Through sweat and effort, friendships deepened, and a profound sense of belonging and honor grew stronger amidst the competition.

From daily themed gatherings to intense competitive arenas, Wuhan Aisha’s house system uses diverse activities as a bond to continually break down barriers of age, nationality, and academic division. Under the auspices of the auspicious beast emblem, every member grows through unity and collaboration, transforming the houses into spiritual homes that unite hearts and transmit strength.

白泽院舍将发扬人的“义”端——格物致知、勇于担当、富有反思心,具有领袖气质。
白泽为龙之化身,博学明理,能为世除害,寓意洞察世事、守护正义。院舍以此为象征,鼓励学生胸怀格局,于责任中成长,在思辨中修炼领导智慧。
Dragon House upholds “Righteousness” — fostering discernment, courage, and reflective wisdom.
The Bai Ze, a dragon-like guardian, symbolizes profound knowledge and justice. This House inspires students to grow through responsibility, broaden perspectives, and cultivate true leadership.

凤凰院舍将发扬人的“礼”端——尊重差异、兼收并蓄、富有包容心,彰显优雅品格。
凤凰自古为祥瑞之鸟,象征秩序、和谐与焕新。院舍倡导温暖的社区文化,在寄宿生活中培养学生自律、自理与跨文化沟通力,让每位成员皆能在多元环境中找到归属与自信。
Phoenix House embodies “Propriety” — celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and harmony.
The phoenix symbolizes renewal and grace, guiding students to thrive in a nurturing community, develop independence, and embrace cultural connections.

驺吾院舍将发扬人的“仁”端——乐于助人、坚毅勇敢、富有团队精神,彰显强健品格。
驺吾,传说中的白兽之王,象征勇猛与忠诚。院舍秉承体育精神,激励学生在竞技中挑战极限、锻炼体魄,于合作中凝聚力量,于挫折中塑造坚韧品格。
Tiger House reflects “Benevolence” — encouraging bravery, resilience, and camaraderie.
The legendary Zou Wu represents loyalty and strength, inspiring students to test their limits, value teamwork, and cultivate lasting perseverance.

鲲鹏化形,乘风而起,象征志向高远与智慧无垠。院舍鼓励学生以求知为翼,跨越学科疆界,培养深度思考与创新精神,于学术探索中启迪未来。
Dolphin House signifies “Wisdom” — fostering intellectual curiosity, vision, and creativity. Inspired by the boundless flight of the Kun Peng, this House encourages students to explore fearlessly, think deeply, and shape a brighter future through scholarship.

Cultural Symbolism: Integrating imagery from classical Chinese mythology with modern educational philosophy to embody cultural confidence;
